Just towels, wellies and a torch.  Optional extras: tennis rackets & balls (if you fancy a game), insect repellent (high summer), firelighters, camping chairs and a pop up tent can be useful for extra space/storage (especially if you are a family).

Yes we do: all crockery, pots and pans, kitchen utensils etc can be found on site, either in your van, in the summer kitchen or by the washing up station.

Outside your van you will find a small firebowl to cook over.  Our big campfire is located in the copse and is great for whole site bookings.   We sell wood, kindling and charcoal to get the fire going.  In our summer kitchen you’ll find a 2 ring gas hob, a good option for cooking breakfast or preparing something for the kids.  In your van you will find a campgas cooker and kettle for making tea etc.  We ask that you don’t cook inside the vans for health and safety reasons.

The shower and toilets are located in the showershack.  There are two toilets on site – a conventional flushing one and also a composting loo.  Every endeavour has been made to make the glampsite as eco friendly as possible.  We provide organic toiletries so no need to bring shower gel, shampoo or conditioner with you.

Our vintage caravans date from the 1930s and have no electricity.  Lighting is by way of low level solar, fairy lights, lanterns and candles.  There is electricity in the car park area where you’ll find a fridge, freezer and extra sockets.  Any phones/tablets put on charge here are left at your own risk.

You can bring a well behaved dog by special arrangement with Jo.  Please note there are livestock in the neighbouring fields so dogs must be kept under control at all times and are not permitted to stray into the private garden of the owners.  In addition, we politely ask you do not allow your dog on the upholstery and you make sure you scoop up all messes.

Yes we do. We offer delicious home cooked dinners – curries, chillis, vegetarian and child friendly dishes – via our ‘van service’.  Meals must be ordered at least 24 hours in advance.  For large groups taking the whole site we also offer everything from one pot campfire dinners to 3 course wild dining feasts in the summer kitchen and hangover brunches.  Just ask!
