Things to do

We are located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The River Wye is just a short walk down a farm track from the glampsite and beyond lies the pretty market town of Ross-on-Wye. The ancient woodlands of the Forest of Dean are a 20 minute drive away. To the north-east lies the unspoilt market town of Ledbury with the spectacular Malvern hills in the distance. We are also close to the Welsh border and an hour from the Brecon Beacons National Park via Crickhowell or Hay-on-Wye, famous for its bookshops. We make an excellent base for a wide range of outdoor activities including canoeing, kayaking, cycling, gorge walking, horse riding and hiking with over 1000 miles of footpaths covering the Offa’s Dyke Path and Wye Valley Route.

We have 4 adult bicycles on site for hire and a tennis court you are welcome to use. We firmly believe a stay with us is all about letting your imagination run wild and enjoying the simple things like building a den, spotting the baby owls in the copse and wandering down to the river to skim stones or paddle about.
